Terms of Service
Last updated: June 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MenuCat, a software-as-a-service product operated by Mio Gato Software ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using MenuCat, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
MenuCat is a hosted digital menu and QR ordering platform for restaurants. We provide tools to create menus, manage availability, generate QR codes, and let your guests browse your menu on their own devices. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use MenuCat. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
3. Subscriptions and billing
MenuCat is offered as a monthly subscription. Paid plans are billed in advance through Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Prices are shown on our Pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods. Free trials do not require a credit card and convert to a paid subscription only if you choose to continue.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use MenuCat only for lawful purposes and not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it without authorization, or upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful. You are responsible for the menu content and other information you publish.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the menus, images, and other content you add to MenuCat. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, display, and operate the service on your behalf, including showing your public menus to your guests.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep MenuCat available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify these Terms; if we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice.
8. Disclaimers and liability
MenuCat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mio Gato Software is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using MenuCat at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we are required to act on by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable period.
